Vasectomy Costs & Medicare Rebate
The initial consultation is $85 includes pre procedure antibiotics (Medicare rebate is $39) and obligation free. The no scalpel vasectomy procedure performed under local anaesthetics is $600 (Medicare rebate approximately $206).
There is a non refundable $100 booking fee for the vasectomy procedure which will be redeemable on the day of procedure. (i.e. you will be charged $100 less from the total fee.)
Bookings can be made on the phone. We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard. You can reschedule your appointment but you must give us 1 week’s notice, otherwise your booking fee will be forfeited.
Please contact the surgery staff as fees are subject to change. The above fees are current from July 2022. Our practice software can process your payment with Medicare Australia online. You do not need to go to Medicare Office to claim you rebate.
Additional fees may be required to cover costs of sedation if required. Please let our staff know if you wish additional sedation.
